Where can I find current tenders?

TPIA states that it does not publish a current tender list on this website. Contact the office directly to enquire about available opportunities and obtain information about authorised local sourcing agents.

Is a local agent required?

The supplied tender guidance states that international tenderers should work through an accredited local representative in Ghana. Request written confirmation of the agent’s accreditation before providing documents or making payments.

What documents are generally required?

The stated list includes a quotation, letter of intent, local-agent authorisation, application and registration forms, company profile, evidence of legal registration, details of company officials and a proforma invoice.

How are bids evaluated?

Stated considerations include relevant past performance, financial capacity, product quality and compliance with the tender documents. Specific evaluation criteria should be confirmed for each opportunity.

Can a company submit more than one bid?

The supplied contract procedure indicates one tender per lot. Refer to the official tender documents for any permitted alternatives.

When will a contract be awarded?

The supplied guidance describes an initial review within three working days, but this is not a guaranteed award timeline. Actual decisions depend on the tender and its official evaluation process.

What should a commercial quotation include?

A quotation should clearly identify the supplier, products or services, quantities, unit prices, total price, currency, delivery basis such as CIF or FOB, validity period and any applicable taxes or shipping costs.

What quality certificates may be requested?

The applicable tender may request product-specific test reports, ISO certification, CE marking where relevant, warranties or evidence of compliance with technical specifications.

Can international suppliers participate?

The supplied procedure contemplates international participation, potentially through a local representative. Eligibility, nationality restrictions and consortium rules must be checked against the actual official notice.

What happens if my submission is incomplete?

Missing mandatory forms or evidence may result in a non-responsive submission. Review the official checklist and ask for clarification before the deadline.
